Eve Langelier, (Eng, PhD., MSc.) has a background in mechanical and biomedical engineering. She is currently an Associate Professor at Université de Sherbrooke. She holds the Chair for Women in Science and Engineering from NSERC in the region of Québec, whose main goal is to increase the participation of women in these fields. Her chair program targets women at different stages in their life, from grade five to the workplace. Eve Langelier is also active in bioengineering research. She studies the mechanobiology and biomechanics of tendons in order to improve the prevention and healing of injuries.
