Steering Committee

The long term vision and overarching goals of the Gender Summit events are guided by the Steering Committee, many of whom served on the genSET Science Leaders Panel or represent leading partners of previous Regional Committees. The Gender Summit events were established by Portia Ltd in 2011 as part of its genSET project. Since then Portia has worked in regional partnerships to convene further Gender Summit events. A Regional Committee is set up for each event. Proposals for Regional events are being accepted on an on-going basis, please contact us if you wish to express an inerest in organising a regional event in your location.
